Not bad.

This is not bad at all. The beginning is a little odd, and slow to start. My one complaint for the beginning would be how off that synth sounds in the background, compared to the beat. However, once everything else comes in, it sounds very nice! You're percussion is very well done as well, the kick is not too great, and the slight swing beat works nicely. The variation of the song is nice as well, and to make a 6 minute song is quite a feat. But, to have this much variety in a 6 minute song, that's even better. I have to say, my favorite part would be around 4:50. That was really intense man, that part was awesome. I think it could have used more of a buildup, but it's still awesome!

Make more like this man! You really did a nice job!
10/10 and 5/5.

DjYeoh responds:

Thanks, well i inserted the synth background because when i hear it, its too plain so i tried adding that and it blended in but since you mention its alittle odd i'll make a better synth background on my next Song.
Thanks for your review really appreciate a good review! :D

Wow...

This was truly touching. Your take on the song, while somewhat odd, really gives the song meaning. The piano is beautiful, very well done... you always did play nicely. The percussion, with a slight bit of glitch, is also well done. It has a nice flow with the bass and the ambient pad in the background. The combo of the piano, bass and percussion is excellent.

You really did a nice job man! Congrats on getting to the EP, and make more songs like this one! :)

10/10 and 5/5, for sure. This is going on my favorites too!

mjattie responds:

I wrote a nice review on your ep song btw, but ng somehow did not send it... I only wanted to say that I really liked it and that's it a shame that you're not on it :P

thanks for your compliments :)

Intense

This is pretty intense; i can feel the industrial-ness of it. The drums are greater than glitch, they're heavy by far, and that's what really classifies this as Industrial and not as DNB. The bass you used is a little rough on the ears, but IDM Industrial is supposed to sound like that. :)

Nice job on this one! 10/10 and 5/5. :D

Thanks for listening & reviewing, Kaiz...
I put some of my DnB songs under the Industrial section because I think people looking in the DnB section are expecting something less abrasive.
good to know you like this kind of music.

Wow...

I'm surprised that this didn't make it onto the EP... it's pretty excellent. The whole mix of upbeat ambient sounds a nice smooth drum beat. The whole dark feel of it is really awesome too, it's almost scary. Sounds like a haunted house theme or something...

Awesome work. :D 10/10 and 5/5!

SolusLunes responds:

Believe you me, when I actually get around to making my own EP, this will either be track #1 or the last track.

Because it's fucking awesome. :D

Interesting...

This is a kind of odd song... it doesn't really seem like R&B to me, more like ambient/dnb/hip-hop. However, beside that point, it's a very good song. The piano work is nicely done and very well written, you've got some true talent there. The strings are also nice, they are very mellow yet carry a nice melody throughout the song. The drums are nice as well, although the snare is a bit harsh, but it suits the song well.

Nice work. :)
9/10 and 5/5.

takeflight responds:

I never could get the drums to sound good without the distortion, but I was sort of a noob at mastering then, still am in a way :P Thanks for the review :]

Traditional DNB!

Now THIS is what I look for in a DNB song! It's really intense and fast paced, but not too much 'holy-crap-in-your-face-blow-my-ears-
out-with-a-giant-bassline' kinda thing. It has some awesome elements to it, for example that low bass in the beginning, set to F Major. It just has that pounding DNB effect, and I like that!

Overall, you did a great job! My one complaint for this song would be the length, but it loops nicely and doesn't get boring at all!

10/10 and 5/5... nice work on this song, and congrats on 1st!

hopeku responds:

Thanks man. As for the song length I totally agree but it would have taken so long just to add one min. It took about 8 hour to just make this if I remember. Would be easy to extend the parts though but there would probably be a lack of content.

Whoa!

Dude this is intense! I love the 8-Bit sounds, it's totally amazing... great feel, really sounds like Giggle Fields to me... when the percussion comes in, i found the song had a lot more flowing through it... it's not the same style of nubbin drums that I'm used to, but it's still pretty awesome! You could totally add some glitchin' drums at the end, just to show off or something... :P

You know, I would really love to remix this song... my hopes are that you used FL Studio to make this one!

10/10 and 5/5... excellent!

Cheers bud. :D

nubbinownz responds:

:D:D:D I did :D

Cool!

This is really neat man! I like progressive house, and this really takes the cake. The kick is good, it has a nice punch to it while not being too overly powerful. One odd thing though, at the 30 second mark, when the kick comes in, the cutoff on the main synth just kinda fades out... it might sound better if it were more abrupt. Also while the kick is going, have the cut-off fade in and out. That might just be my opinion, but it sounds good as is. It's just a little something to think about...

Anyway, nice work. 10/10 and 5/5. :D

Berto195 responds:

Thanks alot man i appreciate it, I agree with you, that part can be impproved :)

Intense.

Reminds me of a menu theme for an action game. Either that or level 1 for said action game, but this is still amazing! I can definitely see this getting onto the EP, i really can! It's got a great beat, and I like how the percussion is comprised of mostly snare and the glitchy hats, with only a minor kick to back it up. Everything else is spotless...

10/10 and 5/5! Amazing!

S3C responds:

Thanks Kaizerwolf!

Nothing special.

I'm sorry, but there is nothing special about this song. You used the same chords over and over again, nothing interesting happened to the melody, other than a weak sidechain on it. The percussion was nothing to listen in awe to either, it sounded pretty bland and the supersaws you used just completely cut out the percussion.

Make a dance song with a bit more variety please?
6/10 and 3/5.

DanceNation responds:

Ok, next song, I'll give my all!!!

Whatever you see here is.. well, mind blowing. Contact me at: dgm.kaizerwolf@gmail .com
