This is...

Epic to no end. It really gives the impression of a scene in a movie of traveling down a dangerous road to victory. It speaks to me in that sort of way, which not many songs can do. I like how the percussion, no matter how soft it was, really added a 4th dimension to the song, really carrying it on. The chimes were good, they might have sounded better a little bit louder and maybe one octave lower in pitch, but good all the same!

I thought for a second, with the start, that it would turn out to be a video game song with more of a rock beat to it, but this alternative is VERY good!

High Five! High Ten! Holy bgod, that was awesome! 10/10 and 5/5, favorited as well!

Whoa...

Funky. And i wont leave a one word review either!

I like the bass line. It almost sounds like a very mutee pick bass of sorts, but it does add a nice touch to the lower end of the song. I do like the melody around 1:00, that was very strong and very cool! I liked how the song was really brought together by the drums. It almost sounds like Linkin Park at some points!

10/10 and 5/5. Niiice. :D

:D Tell Kaizerwolf what you think of his review!

Nifty

It isnt bad.

The guy below me has no freaking clue what music is, if he says this song is crap. It has an interesting style, and while i'm not a fan of the percussion all that much, it wasnt that bad. You do need to update your percussion library, but the song is fine with what you have chosen. What i like the most is the melodies and the bassline, because those really stood out to me. I like the muted feel of the main line, that adds a nice touch to the slower beat.

This needs some work, but it was very good! 8/10 and 5/5.

Death-9 responds:

Like I said, it's not really a great remix, I just sat down and did it because I had the .flp

I might end up working on it some more, but that's not likely

Chillin i am. :)

We oughta collab on a chill-type song man, because we're both pretty awesome at it. I like the bells, they always seem like chill music to me. I like how it flowed smoothly along, and it had a nice beat to it, even without percussion. When the percussion did come in, i liked the nice beat it set.

This is really awesome dude! 10/10 and 5/5!

mjattie responds:

hey man, thanks

A collab sounds very nice, but I guess you're using Fruity Loops, and I'm using reason, so that's not really going to work...

Cool!

I really like this song, it almost has an industrial feel to it. It's funny what you can do with lamps. Anyway, i like how it flowed around, even with such punchy sounds. It was a very good track though, i look forward to the sample pack!

10/10 and 5/5, awesome song!

sorohanro responds:

You're a very fast reviewer :))
Thanx man, next week I'll get the pack ready (I hope).

I miss you too nub!

It's another cool song from you! I like the mellow intro, it adds a nice ambient touch to the song. What i dont like is the random volume drop-off's in the beginning, but thats okay because i think it's part of the drums... after listening to the whole song, i was just a LITTLE bit disappointed that there was no crazy glitch percussion like so many of your other songs, but the percussion that you have works fine. Very mellow and ambient, a nice way to relax.

Good work man! Keep it up! 10/10, 5/5, favorite!

nubbinownz responds:

thanks bro :D good to hear from you again by the way

Not too bad!

It flowed pretty nicely, the strings and the piano worked very well together. Myone complaint would be that one piano note every once and a while that plays a little too loud over the rest.

It still is good though! I wish the strings stayed constant, not just cutting off.

9/10 and 5/5.

14etan responds:

thanks man i noticed the note to no matter how i changed the velocity it stayed the same but watever

Interesting...

The bong-type instruments kinda take away the whole aisian type feel of it, and whatever those "wooden wind-chime" sort of things are cut it off for me. Still, it's good!

8/10 and 4/5.

crazydude183 responds:

thanks

Almost...

...sounds like Lord Of The Rings. With the epic sort of battle music, it really creates the entire scene in your mind. I can basically see what might be occuring during a song like this. I like the entire orchestral composition, and the choice of instruments used is what i like the best. This is your typical style Maestro, and i would expect nothing less from you. Orchestral songs are greatly under-appreciated today, and it's good to see that there are still artists like yourself who still make this music.

Nice work, really impressive! 10/10 and 5/5!

MaestroRage responds:

I'm glad you liked it Kaizerwolf! It's somewhat an older song since I didn't release it until The Great Siege was released (which due to some problems was much, much longer then anticipated).

Thanks for the review!

This isnt wrong!

In fact, it's really not abd at all! Again, you have that funny organ kind of sound, but it gives the rest of the song a nice feel and texture. My one complaint would be a lack of bass, because (and i don't know much about hip-hop) every song needs some sort of bass, unless it's pure ambient. Still, i liked the drum work and the melodies.

9/10 and 5/5.

Nofets responds:

Oh, the bass is definitely there, its a very low frequency, but I understand what you are getting at. Thanks for the review!!
