[Trance Head II]

Needs work.

A lot of work. Stay away from Toxic Biohazard and Poizone, because the loops are easily identified from those plugins. Expand your knowledge and make your own gateing sounds. Also, you need to update your percussion. Basic FL doesnt cut it on the AP.

the drums are a bit overused in basic fl songs, i'll admit that. But if you listen to my song nightclub - alien remix, then i'll make you eat those words.

Annoying

The annoyingness of it really turned me off. I liked the original Streamline, and im sorry to say, this really sounded too close to the original. There wasnt anything interesting to it either, no bass or main melody, just that one annoying flue or whatever and some percussion, which in my opinion, wasnt done well at all.

This is actually really cool! I'm not a huge fan of house, but this sounds very professional. The percussion is very well done, nothing sounds too out of place or too loud over everything else. I like the main synths and melodies you used, they flow together pretty nicely. I even like the vocals a bit, but they seem a little out of place.

So, not bad! 9/10 and 5/5!

Percussion...

The percussion is yucky. It's basic FL Stndard kits. Upgrade your percussion libraries. If theres one thing that ruins a song from FL, it's over use of the standard stuff. I know i said this in another review of a song of yours, but it needs repeating, The rest of the synths you used were fine, just the percussion really made ths song worse in my opinion.

Updates needed.

Your percussion is seriously lacking. You need to update from the same old FL Standard stuff. If i'm correct, i hear some Wasp, Sim Synth and Sytrus. Some of the melodies hurt my hears a bit, but it's probably because of the synths you used.

It needs some work. 7/10 and 4/5.

A little annoying...

That main line that starts in the beginning is really a little harsh on the ears. The notes you chose are really painful with that kind of high-pitched synth you chose, so i would recommend changing that. The percussion also needs upgrading a bit, the basic sort of FL sounds dont work well with audio anymore.

It needs a little work. 8/10 and 4/5.

I agree with the user below me.

It does get a little annoying on the ears at times. To me, this sounds a bit more Industrial than Trance, only because of that really heavy snare and slower, more dark progressive beat. I like the song overall though, it has a nice and clean presentation. Many of the synths you used were very interesting, yet they added nicely to the song.

So, it's not bad! 8/10 and 4/5.

Cool!

This was verynicely eecuted. Reminds me of the music from TES4: Oblivion. I hate how it's short, and you should really make a longer version. I liked the strings a lot, they added a nice background ambience to it. The piano was also very nicely written and mastered, and, being a pianist myself, i know the tedious work of making a piano sound just right. You captured the perfect moment of... well, something... i just dont know what!

Nice! 10/10 and 5/5!

Not too bad.

You need to update your percussion and synth libraries though. The percussion was very weak here, i had to strain to hear it. Many synths over powered each other and the percussion. I'm not sure how i feel about the scratch on the end of the percussion beat, but it doesnt sound too bad.

It could use some work. 8/10 and 4/5.

Midi is not your work.

I have to give you a three, because Midi is not at all your work. Basically, remixing a Midi file is just putting new synths in place of the midi ones.

Make some real music.

I know that it isn't all my work.
But it's not that easy as you think, although I just used a midi.
What do you mean with "real music"?
In my opinion this is real music and I really don't care what you think about it.
I just have to say:
Most people here on newgrounds use a midi when they remix a song.
Think about it.
And why do you HAVE TO give me a three?
Nobody asked you to write a useless review like this, just because I used a Midi!
