Never hearing the original, this is very good.

The kick is to die for. (wish i had one like that ;]) A lot of the hats you used sound like they have some sort of filter on them, however that could be just my ears/speakers. The crash cymbals are always hard in a trance song or any electronica song for that matter, and you accomplished this well.

Synth
______
So, a lot of the synths and samples you used have some sort of reverb on them. This works well in contrast with the rest of the song. Many of the string instruments in the background really bring out the rest of the song. They contrast well with the samples in the foreground.

Good- The song.
Bad- The end. It stopped :P I didn't want it to end!

So, all in all. 10/10, 5/5. That's awesome my good sir. :)

I'm not really sure, but I think I filtered the hats abit yeah (can't be bothered to open up the project file :p

Party.

Thats what it sounds like. It's nice and jumpy, it has a nice trance feel to it. It's not too slow, not too fast. The synths and the bass seem to go hand and hand, though at times the lead synth over powers just a bit. The part in the beginning does sound more House oriented, but it turns into trance later on. The white noise stuck in there really brings it home.

Overall, 10/10 and 5/5. Wonderful :)

Rate/RAVE/Review

Should be what you say. This was epicly awesome. I loved the progression, it was all high and bouncy like a happy hardcore song, but it was dark and evil at the same time. It reminds me of some of Dimrains work, only with better mastering. I love this song, really i do :)

Ambient Lounge :D

Sounds very relaxing, nice to sit back to. It has a feel to it that some of my newer songs have, and i like the genre it falls into. I've been seriously stressed out lately, my music making computer is AWOL (or just has some malfunctioning fans) and i haven't been able to release myself with the music. So this... this really helps.

The changing melodies really have a nice way to add feeling and emotion to a song like this, and the ending didn't bother me at all.

10/10 and 5/5. Download as well :)

What you have done...

Is touched my heart. The thing is, a song like this, co-oped with a game like Run Elephant Run, really makes a lasting impression. This is going on my iPod for sure, because of the way that it spoke to me. It just had a way to make me feel all happy inside :D

[Day20 - Midnight affairs]

Ever since Technodude...

I have never heard a Psy trance song the likes of this. It amazed me to no end, and i love it now after 4 or 5 listens. I really like the FX, adds a nice touch to it. Most of the bouncy synth sounds are exactly what a psy trance song needs. The bassline is to die for, honestly. It takes a while to find a suitable bass sample to use for a trance song, let alone a psy trance song, but you hit the spot. Good luck with the next ten or so songs, i look forward to them!

10/10 and 5/5. I would download it if my 2GB iPod had some more room ;)

Nice!

Lyrics are beautifully done, no scratches, nothing of the sort. They just seem to over power a bit at times. Lovely song though, we're both in bands now :P

Game Level!

Sounds like the level for a racing game or something high paced. My only complaint is the amount of peaking that the kick has on the rest of the song. Other than that, it sounds fine :)
