I'm impressed!

It's not all that often that I hear a really good funk song, and let me tell you, this is amazing! You've got a lot of talent to sho, and you did an awesome job putting this song together. It's catchy and upbeat at the same time, and it definitely has a funky vibe to it!

You've come very far since that 1 minute competition bud! Excellent work!

Hey kaizerwolf! :D
Thanks for the great comment. I really love making this song, i really want to do another one ^^. However, with my current computer problems it's probably going to take awhile..

Ha, so you still remember my 1 minute song.. How things have changed.
Thanks you liked it!

Interesting

It's mostly a song made up of different bass sounds, which make up primarily the bass (no way) and the leads. Lots of sawtooth type sounds, which electro house really has a way with. You've captured that style pretty weel here, and the quality of the overall song is very high. The percussion is nicely done, but not the best I've heard. It's a pretty basic beat, with maybe a few cut outs here and there, but the percussion needs a tad more variety for my taste.

It could just be that my taste in electronica music has changed a bit, but this is a fine song you've got here. Props towards the choir near the end. ;)

Amazing...

You did an amazing job on making a suspenseful soundtrack song. This is great, really! You're always a natural when it comes to orchestral things. It really reminds me of something from an Indiana Jones movie, only because of that chanting bit. The other parts could work perfectly in a desperate-desert like scene, or some underground mine out of Final Fantasy.

Wonderful work, as always!

Awwww buddy. Ya didn't have to leave a review, but it makes me smile to see that ya did! :-D

Glad you enjoyed the piece. Its definitely the sort of direction I want to be going with my music now. Not that this will be the only sort of sound I plan on creating from now on. But the soundtrack style is something I am really shooting for. So to get feedback saying that I did well capturing that sort of style here really makes my day.

Thanks again bud.

Well, Mr. Gravey...

I must say I am impressed! You've always done well with piano work on songs, and this one is no different! But, this time you've combined it with so many different elements... awesome bongo/congas, great strings, especially the pizzicato (?) string.

I'm glad you linked me to this song, because it's very excellent. You deserve to win that Drum and Piano contest. :)

Thank you very much bud. Good to hear from you as always. And I'm glad you enjoyed this little tune. I'm really happy with how it turned out, and I think it stands a fair chance in the competition.

Thanks for the review. :-)

Beastly Loop!

This is freaking sweet man! I can totally see this as the main menu theme for a game, definitely something professional. If not a menu theme, an in-game shop theme.

The loop is awesomely produced. The drums are great, the slight low pass filter on them is really cool. The vibraphone sound instrument, the one that has that really nice volume effect on it, is a great addition, it's very smooth and mellow sounding. The saxophone, or trumpet, whatever it is, is also very well done.

Another amazing song. I don't know how many Ten's and Fives I've given you in the past, but let's add another to the list!

Woohoo

You deserve the top 5 man, another excellent song. (I've been pretty busy, so I haven't had too much time to review anything.)

Now, this is awesome, as I expect from you! The whole song sounds more like jazz than it does hip-hop, but it's still very good! The guitar soloing is great, you do an amazing job with recording. The piano later on is so soothing as well.

It's really amazing, what you can do. How you do it, I still don't know, but you never fail to impress me. :)

Not bad

I like it, it's a decent song. The intro is a little shakey, your saw, coupled with whatever filter effect you have on it, is kinda harsh to the ears. However, after that, once the percussion really starts coming in, the saw sounds great the stuttering is great, as well as the sliding. I also like the little bit of offset on the melody, like how it doesn't fit with the beat. It's awesome sounding like that!

The key change was interesting and unexpected, but i liked it. The pad breakdown was also nicely timed, and the ambiance of it was great. Then, the kick comes back in, the saw comes back, and it goes back to an "uncz uncz" song.

My complaints would be the clap sounds a little odd, that slowdown at 2:51 is really awkward, and the bass gets a little odd around there.

Not a bad song though, you definitely have talent.

Chillin.

I like this one man. The slow tempo really allows time for the bass and melodies to shine, and the bell sounds have some really sweet reverb on them. The percussion is HW quality, a nice beat to carry an otherwise ambient tune.

Awesome work as usual!

Nice!

This was fantastically done man! The breakbeat style of the percussion is great, it really gives the song an almost desperate sound. The only reason you're getting a 9 is because that high pitched bell-ish melody is kinda painful to the ears at some points. It's still a good song though, you still have my 5. :)

Smooth and chill.

I like your style man, the chill music is what I love. It's always calming, yet it carries on a good beat. You've definitely mastered chill music, you really oughta go pro with all of it.

The beat is very good, i like the slight filter on it, it makes for a very nice addition to the song. The vocals are eerie but that doesn't subtract from the song.

Amazing, once again. You keep on doing this, because it's that insanely awesome. :D
